Information for Appraisers

As an appraiser with Wessex Appraisal Service, you will have the opportunity to guide, support, and help develop your medical colleagues as well as to help them prepare for Revalidation. In return, you will be supported by the Programme Manager and our team of Administrators who will ensure that everything runs smoothly.

You will also be supported by your Senior Appraiser, who will run regular Appraiser Support Group Sessions and offer you feedback on your appraisals, as well as helping you with any queries or problems you may have. You will be invited to attend the Annual Conference, which is a wonderful opportunity to network and share best practice with other appraisers, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest news in Appraisal and Revalidation and learning new knowledge and skills. You will be able to take part in a programme of continuing training and development (CASA) and to maintain and develop your practice.

Wessex Appraisal Service provides a Code of Conduct for both appraisers and appraisees. Please refer to the Code of Conduct for Appraisers.
